The most famous architectural works of Porto Rotondo is undoubtedly the central square (or square), San Marco. Designed by renowned artist Andrea Cascella Pescara, the square directly overlooking the marina of the town, creating a striking effect with the circularity of the houses around.

Facing the square there is also the new (opened in 1995) open-air amphitheater.
