Among the main monuments to visit in Porto Rotondo, there is the "Outdoor Theater", designed by sculptor Mario Ceroli, and built by architects Gianfranco Fini and Marina Sotgiu. Made of rough granite of Gallura, the work presents measurements of the same Mario Ceroli, and follows the classical greek-Roman models.
The entire structure is semi-circular and has a wooden box with a bottom wall fixed: able to accommodate about 700 people, the "Outdoor Theater" in Porto Rotondo is located in the area in front of Piazza San Marco, and is was inaugurated in 1995. Another place worth visiting is the Church of San Lorenzo, located near the Piazzetta San Marco, and reached by a staircase of 35 steps that lead directly from the square to the churchyard.
Created by Andrea Cascella, Mario Ceroli and Gianfranco Fini, the Church has the shape of an inverted ship's hull, and inside there are representations of historical figures shaped in wood, created by Mario Ceroli, the altar was made by Andrea Cascella. Finally, to visit, is the new bell tower 24 meters high, was built entirely of wood, home Bells dedicated to the elements of nature, air, land, water and fire. Designed by Mario Ceroli and Gianfranco Fini, and developed by the architect Sergio Malgaretto, the bell tower is located behind the Church of San Lorenzo.
